 Advocacy & Policies

The Peachland Chamber of Commerce (PCC) is a member of BC Chamber (BCC) and Canada Chamber (CC).

The Board of Directors set our governance and policy model and the PCC (mostly represented by the C.A.O.) attends regional chamber meetings hosted by the BCC to discuss policies that will be brought forward to the Provincial Government. These policies, once selected, are then approved by the BCC membership at the yearly BCC AGM.

The BC Chamber's grassroots policy-development process is second-to-none in British Columbia. Every year, their membership of businesses, Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade develops policies that reflect the on-the-ground needs of B.C. businesses. Through this process, their membership endorses approximately 40 new policies every year at its Annual General Meeting.
